However, Alienware laptops don’t come cheap. With starting price near $1500, these aren’t for the average consumer or recommended for the casual gamer.

Although for people who have a heavy pocket, Alienware laptops offer a full package. High RAM, high output graphic cards etc.

Dell is generally a neutral brand, considering that their laptops are neither too pricey nor too cheap. They make laptops for each type of consumer, and their constant number 2 position as the best laptop manufacturer is well deserved.

Asus is a Taiwanese company, which started manufacturing laptops in 1989.

Quickly rising from the 7th best manufacturer of laptops to the 3rd within a short time, Asus is a customer favorite.

Many consumers prefer buying from Asus, as they believe they’re getting actual value and not just paying for brand name. Moreover, since Asus develops most of its components such as the graphic cards, motherboards and displays etc. themselves they are more reliable than their competitors.

With different prices for their products, Asus offers something for everyone! Be it the $349 Transformer Book or the $2499 G751, they have something for every consumer.

One of the biggest drawbacks to buying an Asus laptop, is their poor social media/online customer support. Many customers have reported their on-call support being acceptable, however, neither the website nor the Facebook page offer clear options.

Furthermore, they often ask you to pay return shipping in the unfortunate event of any issue, which often sparks debate and criticism from customers.
