The Philippines, however, is still catching up with making it more affordable, reliable and fast. And there is no stopping at it. It will eventually be one of the prime things one needed in their daily lives.

The first thing that you need to consider is creating a Pisonet Business plan. If you plan on putting up your pisonet business, stop first, and plan. Create a business plan subject your idea to different scenarios and conditions. It’s not enough of a reason to put up a pisonet business because your area has lots of people or is strategically located like near a school or within a big community.

A pisonet business plan will tell you whether your pisonet venture will succeed or fail. Like what they say – failing to plan is planning to fail. So never forget to start first with a business plan.

If you are not sure of what a business plan contains, here are some pointers you might want to ask first:

  • Do you have a market for your business?
  • How much is your capital?
  • What is your income break-even point?
  • How much would you like to earn in a day?
  • What are the risk when you put up your pisonet business?
  • How about competitors? Are there existing cafes around your area?

Answering these questions first and creating a solid business plan will help you determine if it’s worth it. Do not just go and list your answers in your mind! Literally, write it up and see for yourself. Do calculations and stuff. If you are not sure, you can ask someone who is an expert to draw up your plan.

How much does it Cost to Start a Pisonet Business?

Computers are becoming more competitive nowadays. You can buy a good computer set as a affordable price. PC use is somewhat declining with the use of mobile phones! But do not be discourage, a pisonet business is still lucrative.

For an entry level computer for gaming and surfing, it can cost you of around P15,000. There are a lot of pisonet packages out there that you can get. Here are some good pisonet computer packages that you can check out.

Generally, this package must at least, for P15,000 have:

  • A good 18” monitor (AOC, ACER or some other monitor brands)
  • At least an AMD A4 processor (good for gaming) or an Intel one that’s at least an i3 or i5.
  • 500 GB of HDD (storage)
  • 4 GB of DDR3 RAM (yes, at least DDR3! Don’t settle for something lower)
  • A built in Grapics Drive – at least 760.
  • CPU Case
  • 650W of power supply
  • Headset or Speakers
  • A decent mouse (A4 Tech)
  • A decent keyboard (A4 Tech)
  • Mousepad
  • And free software installed (MS tools – word, excel, powerpoint, etc)
  • An anti-virus

Now, it does not stop there. You now have your computer, now you must think of the Pisonet itself – the timer, pisonet box and stuff. This can cost you of around 3,000 to 5,000 more.

So a decent computer P15,000 and pisonet stuff P3000 or P5000, you now must budget one computer at P20,000.

Other Pisonet Accessories and Needed Things

How about the place? If you have your own place to put up your pisonet, say your garage or the front of your house, then good. It can save you around P8,000 if you will rent. However, there is a such thing as Pisonet Profit Sharing Scheme that you can also check out.

How about your chairs? Electric Fans or AC? Printer and other accessories? This can cost you of around P5,000 to P10,000 more.

So in total we have:

Now, that’s only 1 computer. Ideally, putting up 3 pisonet computers is best to “test” your market. If you feel like adding is a good move, then consult your pisonet business plan again.
