The Honor 8X was released in 2018. It features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, and it is powered by an octa-core Kirin 710 chipset. It has 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 400GB using a microSD card.

The phone has a dual-camera setup on the back, with a 20-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back, and face unlock and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo upgradable to Android 9.0 (Pie), EMUI 9.0.

The Honor 8X is equipped with a 3750mAh battery, which supports fast charging through the micro USB port. It also has dual SIM slots, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, and 4G LTE connectivity. The phone is available in several colors, including black, blue, red, and pink.
